What We Believe at Covenant

We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us from our sins.

We believe that the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments are the very Word of God and recognize them as the highest authority for our lives.

We believe that by the grace of God all persons have the opportunity to accept the gift of salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the sanctity of marriage which God has ordained between a man and a woman.

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and every member is important to God. We believe the Church was created to glorify and worship the triune God and obey His will on Earth.

We believe that it is our duty to obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all people.

We believe in the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe that every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior has Spiritual Gifts that are to be used in the building up of the Body of Christ.
