Christ is Essential
Everything Covenant does as a church is based on what Christ first did for us: His sacrificial gift of salvation offered to all. Our love of Christ informs every aspect of our lives.
Worship is Necessary
Only He is worthy of our worship. We are called as believers to offer our love through worship of the One true God with other believers.
Community is Vital
We are called to grow spiritually and in fellowship with other believers through study of the Bible and accountability with others.
Serving is Life-Giving
Christ calls us to show His love to all people through sacrificial service using the gifts and talents He has given each of us.
Giving is Transformational
All we have belongs to God, so we give back a portion of what He has given us out of gratitude to further the work of the Kingdom at Covenant, in our community, in South Carolina, and around the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us from our sins.
We believe that the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments are the very Word of God and recognize them as the highest authority for our lives.
We believe that by the grace of God all persons have the opportunity to accept the gift of salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the sanctity of marriage which God has ordained between a man and a woman.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and every member is important to God.
We believe the Church was created to glorify and worship the triune God and obey His will on Earth.
We believe that it is our duty to obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all people.
We believe in the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe that every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior has Spiritual Gifts that are to be used in the building up of the Body of Christ.
We are a methodist community of faith whose doctrinal distinctives are in alignment with the Global Methodist Church.
