WORSHIP

Covenant Worship exist to glorify God and to lead others into His presence through music, prayer, and the teaching of Scripture.

Let’s encounter the Lord in worship!

Contemporary Worship

As a worship team, our goal is to ignite faith and change lives through ushering our congregation to the feet of Jesus as quickly as possible. We aim to provide a distraction free worship environment so the church can have an uninterrupted encounter with God.

Traditional Worship

The Worship Choir helps to lead worship at the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. No audition is required to be a member of the choir, though previous choir experience is preferred. The Worship Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 p.m. and serves each Sunday during the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. Additional rehearsals and services are expected for special events, including Christmas and Easter.

Production

Our production team exists to ignite faith and change lives by creating distraction-free environments through audio, video, and lighting where the glory of God is put on display. This means we help serve the church in all things audio, video, and lighting for any services and events.

Worship Orchestra

The Worship Orchestra helps to  lead worship during the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service on selected Sundays and special events throughout the year, including Christmas, Christmas at Covenant, Easter, and other seasonal services. A minimum of two years of experience playing in a band, orchestra, worship team, or on a rhythm instrument is preferred. Participants serve as scheduled and attend one rehearsal prior to each service, typically a 45–60-minute rehearsal before the service or during the week leading up to the event, as determined by the Traditional Worship Director.

Handbells

The Advanced Handbell Ensemble rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00–7:00 p.m., August through May, and requires an audition. The Beginning Handbell Ensemble rehearses weekly on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m., August through May. No prior handbell experience is required for the Beginning Ensemble, although the ability to read basic sheet music is preferred. Both ensembles participate in the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service on select Sundays and perform in special worship services and programs throughout the year.
