Adult Ministries

Groups for all ages.

There are many ways to get involved in our Adult Ministries at Covenant. We offer Sunday School classes, Discipleship Pathway (Covenant’s Bible Study and Small Group ministry) our Men’s and Women’s Ministries. All of these opportunities are great ways for adults to meet new friends, fellowship together, delve deeper into God’s Word, and serve at Covenant and in our community. Navigate to one of the pages below to see each ministry area!

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry at Covenant is constantly giving men opportunities to become connected in the life of the church. Our main focus is to nurture all men of Covenant and help them develop a closer relationship to God.

What We Do – Whether it is a monthly dinner or quarterly get together, an off-site or on-site retreat, special events like the Summer Golf League or the Church-wide Golf Tournament, a Men’s Bible Study or a mission project, men have multiple opportunities to connect and serve at Covenant. The Men’s Ministry also sponsors special fundraisers throughout the year to support various church mission projects and to help our children and youth attend summer camps and mission trips.

Women’s Ministry

Covenant’s Women’s Ministry encourages women of all ages to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, build a stronger bond with her family, serve others, and grow healthy friendships with other women. Our goal is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, personal growth, evangelism, and ministry outreach, which is done through prayer, worship, Bible study, special events, and fellowship.  There are an array of unique opportunities for women to participate in.   We would love to have you join us as we live life together.

Moms Shepherding Moms Ministry is an opportunity for seasoned/experienced moms to share with and mentor moms with young children.  Ministry includes a once a month large gathering for dinner, teaching and sharing as well as small groups which meet at least once per month.

Young Adult Ministry (Ekklesia)

We are a group of young adults, ages 18-30, encouraging one another as we go to college, work jobs, and start putting our roots down in life.

What We Do - Ekklesia is the young adult community of Covenant here in Greer. We meet on Tuesdays for Bible study at 6:45pm. We also have monthly hang outs and occasional worship nights for fellowship, food, high energy worship and passionate teaching from Scripture. We value Scripture as it stands, authenticity to be truly known, community to be strengthened and living in purpose on purpose.

The word “Ekklesia” is the Greek word that we’ve translated to mean “church.” However, this word does not mean church as an institution, business or an event. Instead, it more literally translates as the assembly of God’s people–it’s about the body of believers as opposed to a building! Our hope is to be just that: young brothers and sisters from different churches, backgrounds, denominations and perspectives all seeking Christ together to live in unity for His Kingdom and His glory alone.
