K4 Lead Teacher – Covenant Christian Academy (CCA)

Reports to: Director of Covenant Christian Academy

Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lead Teacher for our K4 classroom. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment that promotes kindergarten readiness while supporting the social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth of four-year-old children.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.

• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

• Support children's growth in early literacy, math, social skills, and independence.

• Communicate effectively with parents and school administration.

• Maintain classroom organization and compliance with DSS regulations.

• Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Knowledge of early childhood development and kindergarten readiness concepts.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Covenant Christian Academy.
