A Christmas Offering: The Oasis Conference

One of our favorite traditions at Covenant is giving away the whole Christmas Offering to bless others. This year, we are grateful to support the Oasis Conference with your generosity.

This year, Covenant is excited to announce that our Christmas Offering will support the vital work of the Oasis Conference, an emerging GMC conference serving the persecuted church across several "closed nations" in Africa. The Oasis Conference is boldly reaching people in Muslim-majority countries where conversion and baptism are often illegal, resources are limited, and Christian leaders frequently face violence or jail time for their actions. Despite these immense hardships, these courageous leaders are sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with remarkable fruitfulness. Our partnership with the GMC of SC supports three critical areas for the Oasis Conference: Clergy Training, to identify and educate gifted men and women in Bible, theology, and practical ministry within their local African context, significantly minimizing cost and travel burdens. It will also help support the three Oasis Conference Leaders, who function as essential missionaries and trainers, building this multi-nation network. Finally, our Christmas offering will support the funding of Special Projects for the advancement of spreading the gospel, providing resources to build a school for battered females, and securing safe houses for endangered pastors. Your gifts this Christmas will directly empower the growth and safety of the persecuted church in Africa, allowing us to help shine the light of Christ into an area of deep persecution, bringing hope and ensuring the Gospel can be safely and fearlessly proclaimed this Christmas season.
